Kennedy Space Center is Cashless
Cash will no longer be accepted at the registers throughout the visitor complex, but should you arrive with only cash, we have made it easy to convert it to a usable Visa card. Learn more below.
Guests may continue to use their credit card, debit card, or smart device with Apple Pay or Google Pay to make payments throughout the visitor complex. If you dont have a payment card, stop by one of our Cash-to-Card kiosks located throughout the visitor complex and Apollo/Saturn V Center to transfer your cash onto a Visa prepaid debit card that can be used anywhere Visa is accepted. There is no cost to use this service.
2026 U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame Induction | May 16
The 2026 U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame® induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, and all are invited to this star studded event!
Watch up close as the next batch of specially chosen American astronauts receive one of the highest honors in their industry, each demonstrating outstanding accomplishments in furthering NASA's mission of exploration and discovery. This year, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation is inducting astronauts Tom Akers and Joe Tanner.
The induction ceremony will be held on the lower level of Space Shuttle Atlantis®, beginning at 10:30am. It is included with admission, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Signed posters of the inductees may be picked up in the Information building, while supplies last.

Space Block Party (July 3-5, 2026)
Kick off the summer with a high-energy weekend of music, interactive activities, and space exploration at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Enjoy live DJ sets, hands-on activities throughout the park, special rover appearances, and interactive experiences celebrating planetary exploration. This limited-time weekend adds a festive atmosphere to an already iconic destination.
STS-135 Anniversary - Atlantis' Final Mission (July 10-12, 2026)
Commemorate the final flight of Space Shuttle Atlantis with a special anniversary weekend honoring STS-135. Guests can experience presentations, astronaut appearances (subject to availability), and interactive storytelling that brings the final chapter of the Space Shuttle Program to life. Visitors will also have the chance to leave their mark on a commemorative display celebrating this historic mission.
Moon Fest 2026 (July 17-19, 2026)
Moon Fest 2026 celebrates the enduring legacy of lunar exploration and humanitys return to the Moon. Marking the anniversary of Apollo 11, this immersive weekend blends vintage-inspired fun with hands-on lunar activities, photo opportunities, expert presentations, and storytelling from Apollo to Artemis. Guests are invited to step back in time ,and look forward in a uniquely engaging atmosphere.
60th Anniversary of the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour (July 22, 2026)
