National Museum of African American Music

Ticket includes admission to the National Museum of African American Music. NMAAM is not a timed museum. The self-guided experience starts with a short 15-minute introductory film in The Roots Theater.

Ticket prices include fees & tax. Youth/Student, Teacher, Senior and Military etc., tickets must be purchased in person to receive a discounted ticket rate. Children ages 0-5 are free.

Experience NMAAM without the cost on special Free Admission Days, sponsored by NMAAM generous partners. Nissan Free Wednesdays: Every first Wednesday of the month, enjoy complimentary access to the museum galleries; excludes access to the Fisk Jubilee Exhibit.

RFID Interactive Wristbands are $5.00 each on Nissan Free Wednesdays.

On free admission days, simply show up and immerse yourself in the history and influence of African American music!
